So many good things today.
Lately, I've been dealing with a lot of stress at school. I've been dealing with my classes a lot. I had to drop two classes. I'm still in my Capstone class, but I still have to talk to the head of the theatre department about that-I haven't decided what I want to do yet. I need this credit. I didn't pick up a class that I wanted to take because I don't know if the late registration date has passed yet. And my dad getting on my ass about it every day is not helping me any.
Today, was different. So many good things happened today. YAY!
I got to school. I payed $1.25 for parking because I had to park in a lot. All of the structures were full, so I was left with no choice but to park. Parking at the structure is $2.25, so saving a dollar on parking may not seem like a big deal. But saving a dollar on parking today was a big deal for me today. I wound up parking in a lot by Cass and I-94.
I had a peanut butter granola and a SoBe for my snack. That was $2.25-the same price as parking in a structure, but it was worth it.
Then, I had a free ice cream sundae. With vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, and whipped cream. The Hillel Organization (the student Jewish organization on campus) was giving them out.
I got a free T-shirt by filling out a survey.
I got free Gatorade.
I got a free DRQ bumper sticker, which I put on my playwrighting notebook. And I put my name in a drawing to win a new car!
I also got my first assignment back in my playwrighting class. We were supposed to come up with a list of instructions for someone. We could also use dialogue. My teacher liked it. He wrote on my paper that I did a nice job.
Here is what the assignment looks like:
Jack and Meg make lunch.
Jack goes to the refridgerator.
Gets out lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion, and meat, and mustard.
Meg brings out the bread from the bread box.
Jack: What do you want on your sandwich, Meg?
Meg: Turkey, lettuce, onion, cheese, tomato, and mustard.
Jack: What kind of bread do you want?
Meg: White.
Jack: Good. White is all we have.
Jack fixes the sandwiches.
He slices the cheese, tomato, and onion.
He puts cheese on one side of the four slices of bread.
He puts the mustard, lettuce, tomato, and onion on another of the four slices.
He puts a few slices of turkey on each sandwich.
He puts the sandwiches together.
Meg puts the turkey sandwiches on plates.
She pulls out a knife from the drawer, and slices the sandwiches diagonally.
Jack pulls out chips from the cupboard.
Meg gets out two cans of Coke, and two glasses.
Jack puts chips on the plates with the sandwiches, while Meg fills the glasses with ice.
Jack takes the plates over to the table, while Meg pours Coke into the glasses.
She takes the glasses over to the table.
She puts one glass to where Jack is sitting, then takes her glass to where she is sitting.
Jack and Meg eat their lunch.
In playwrighting, our plays will be nominated for the Heck-Rabi series. And the winner will win $1,000. Cooldn't think of a better way to end a more perfect day.

Do you really think a play about Jack and Meg from the White Stripes making sandwiches is going to win a thousand dollars?

No. It was my first assignment. I have plenty of time to come with an idea for a play.

Geez Louise Eva~

You haven't posted in a while and now you come at us with this crappola? I'm a little disappointed in you. Where've you been girl? How's the one-ball wonder Stevinator? I'm just guessing that he has one ball.

I suggest that your next play have two characters that are not part of the White Stripes. Although the sandwich making was a riveting scene, you might want to think about pinching it up with a bit more action. I mean, they didn't even have any thing interesting on their sandwich. Next time consider something like cranberry/mayo. That shit is good.

Have you gotten anywhere with your job sister? You better pound the pavement some.

What do you plan on doing after you gradiate? Will you head off to broadway with tap shoes on your toes and a song in your heart?

Skeptically, ANDY DICK.

Well, Andy, Steve and I are friends. We went through a rough patch, but we fixed it.
I have no idea what I'm going to do when I graduate. Maybe something in the theatre.
As for the job thing, I went everywhere. I almost got a job at Bath and Body Works.
Keep in mind that my little scene was my first assignment. My playwrighting class is pretty cool. I have a few ideas for my play, but I thank you for your suggestion. I'm always looking out for new ideas.

Anonymous (if that is your real name)~

Is it sooooooooooooooo hard to believe that moi, Andy Dick, is a fan of Eva's? She is an aspiring actor person you know.

I've decided that I would make an excellent mentor for her! We're both kind of weird and well, that's what it takes to make it in HollyWeird. We're like Jack & Meg's turkey sandwich. She is the mayo and I am the turkey.

I'm considering Eva for a possible part two of The Assistant. I'm looking for a compuslive liar, with a Betty Boop body who has co-dependency issues and bad acting skills. Won't Eva fit the part?

So there, you non-believer Anonymous, I spit in your anonymous and ugly face!!! I'd like to see you try and write a play that would win $1,000.

Whatever- cell is ringing so tootaloo!

Be sure to watch, "Less Than Perfect," and "The Assistant," and maybe buy the Ben Stiller Show on DVD.

Snookums, a.k.a. ANDY DICK (emphasis on the DICK!)

It is so pathetic and sad that you have to pretend that Andy Dick is a friend of yours. come on, get real. you are such a little girl. i really wish someone would just give you a big dose of reality, because you really need it. did you write that crap yourself, or did one of your little sympathizers do it for you?

I could be wrong, but I think the Andy Dick thing is just an inside joke carried over from the janeboards. And its actually mocking boxer, not being supportive of her.

Listen Mister Anonymous Buddy Man!!

I'd like to snip your uvula!!! Why don't you step up to the plate and tell us where you know boxerfanatic from.

I'd like to read your life biography since you're talking smack about poor boxer. I bet you live in your Momma's basement and have an all consuming fetish with vampires or something.

Listen up, sure boxer is young for her age, but she's trying to find her special niche and not you, not anybody can take that away from her!!!!!

P.S. Please watch 'Almost Perfect!'

I just started writing a play about a birthday party that takes place after a mothers death. It's mostly for my own amusement. I have eight pages done already. In it, it's the sisters birthday, and the brother and her friends in the play want the sister to have a very happy birthday, in spite of recent events. The sister is in confict with herself because she had to help take care of her mother towards the end.
Keep in mind that was just my first assignment. We had to write a list of instructions.
